Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) successfully hosted a colourful and dignified MBChB Induction Ceremony for the Class of 2026 at its Lilayi Campus, marked by pride, professionalism, and celebration.
The ceremony was officiated by the Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary – Technical Services, Dr. Kennedy Lishimpi, whose presence highlighted the importance of strengthening Zambia’s health workforce. The event also drew distinguished stakeholders from the medical fraternity, including leadership from the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA).
A key highlight of the ceremony was the formal administration of the professional oath by ZMA Secretary General, Dr. Innocent Ngwira, marking the graduates’ official transition into the noble medical profession. The solemn moment was met with great pride from parents, guardians, faculty, and invited guests who witnessed the milestone achievement.
The ceremony blended formality with celebration, as families and well-wishers shared in the joy of the inductees’ accomplishment.
