Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) staff members came together for a vibrant and energising aerobic fitness session held at the University’s Lilayi Campus, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to promoting health, wellness, and teamwork within the university community.
The aerobic session, conducted on the campus grounds, brought together staff from various departments in a lively display of unity and enthusiasm. The exercise was led by Ms. Agness Mubanga from the Student Affairs Department and Mr. Darlington Cheliboyi from the Human Resources Department, who guided participants through a series of engaging and high-energy fitness routines.
In a show of leadership and solidarity, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Bala, and the Registrar also actively participated in the session, encouraging a culture of wellness and staff engagement at the University. Their involvement underscored TAUZ’s holistic approach to institutional development — one that prioritises not only academic excellence but also the physical and mental well-being of its staff and students.
The session also saw some students joining in the workout, further strengthening the spirit of community and collaboration across the University. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and motivation as participants embraced the opportunity to unwind, recharge, and connect beyond the usual academic and administrative routines. TAUZ continues to champion initiatives that foster a balanced university experience, recognising that a healthy body contributes to a productive and innovative mind. The aerobic session forms part of ongoing efforts to promote wellness activities that enhance teamwork, morale, and overall well-being within the institution.
