Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) commemorated International Women’s Day with a vibrant and heartfelt celebration that brought together faculty and staff in a spirit of appreciation and unity.
The event was uniquely organised by the male staff members, who arranged a variety of activities including fun games, singing, short plays, and inspiring messages dedicated to honouring the remarkable women of the university. The activities created a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and excitement as staff members joined in celebrating the important role women play within the institution.
Leading the celebration was Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr. Balamurugan Easwaran, who, together with the male colleagues, presented special gifts of appreciation to the female faculty and staff. The gesture symbolised gratitude and recognition for their dedication, hard work, and invaluable contributions to the growth and success of the university.
Speaking during the celebration, staff members highlighted the importance of acknowledging the achievements and resilience of women while promoting an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.
