Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) Football Team proudly participated in a three-team friendly tournament held at Makeni College of Education in Lusaka. The tournament featured Makeni College of Education, Medpro College of Health Sciences, and Texila American University Zambia.
In a display of determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship, the TAUZ team secured second place after winning one match convincingly and narrowly conceding the other in a closely contested encounter. The matches were marked by high energy, competitive spirit, and impressive performances from all participating institutions.
The tournament provided an excellent platform for fostering camaraderie among institutions while promoting physical fitness and student engagement beyond the classroom. TAUZ continues to actively participate in various sporting disciplines as part of its commitment to holistic student development and the promotion of extracurricular activities.
Speaking after the tournament, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Bala, congratulated the TAUZ Football Team for their commendable performance and encouraged them to remain dedicated and disciplined in both academics and sports.
