Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) is proud to announce a remarkable achievement by its students at the 2025 Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) Hackathon, held at Lusaka Legacy Resort.
Project Veil, developed by students from the School of Business Management & Information Technology, clinched the Grand Prize, securing K100,000. The project impressed judges with its innovative digital solution aimed at enhancing tax administration and revenue collection in Zambia.

In addition, another project by TAUZ students, Mathews: The Tax Collector, focused on strategies to increase revenue generation and was also well-received during the competition. This showcased the university’s dedication to nurturing practical solutions that address national development challenges. TAUZ extends its gratitude to the Zambia Revenue Authority for providing a platform that encourages technology-driven solutions for the country’s economic growth. The university also congratulates its talented students for bringing pride and recognition to TAUZ through their innovative projects.
