Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) and the Higher Education Loans and Scholarships Board (HELSB) recently held a successful strategic meeting aimed at exploring areas of collaboration in promoting higher education opportunities for Zambian students.
During the engagement, HELSB pledged its support in promoting TAUZ’s flagship KK Scholarship, a programme designed to provide financial assistance to academically deserving but underprivileged students. The scholarship initiative aligns with the national agenda of increasing access to quality education, especially for learners from disadvantaged backgrounds.
TAUZ commended HELSB for its commitment to empowering students through scholarships and educational financing mechanisms, and expressed confidence that the partnership would yield positive results in reaching more students across the country.
The two institutions also discussed potential areas of synergy in advancing student support services, information sharing, and expanding awareness of available educational opportunities through joint outreach efforts.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward in enhancing educational equity and national capacity building, reaffirming both TAUZ’s and HELSB’s dedication to transforming lives through access to higher education.
