Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) faculty and staff participated in an engaging and insightful Learning Saturday, an initiative aimed at equipping employees with valuable knowledge while fostering teamwork and camaraderie. The university sets aside two Saturdays each month to provide its employees with practical training sessions, complemented by fun games that strengthen workplace bonds.
This edition of Learning Saturday featured two thought-provoking sessions delivered by TAUZ staff members. Mr. Mike Mondoma from the Sales & Marketing Department led a session on The Importance of Public Relations, emphasizing how effective PR strategies contribute to institutional reputation, stakeholder engagement, and overall growth. His presentation underscored the need for clear communication, relationship-building, and brand positioning in today’s competitive educational landscape.
Meanwhile, Mr. Warren Jere from the Examinations Department took the staff through a session on Problem Solving & Creativity. His interactive discussion encouraged participants to adopt innovative approaches to challenges in their respective roles, fostering a culture of critical thinking and adaptability within the university.
Beyond the enriching discussions, the session also featured team-building activities designed to enhance collaboration among employees, reinforcing the university’s commitment to both professional and personal development.
