Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) made a remarkable impression at the 61st Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting held recently at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone.
The TAUZ exhibition stand attracted significant attention from medical practitioners attending the event, providing a valuable platform for engagement and information sharing about the university’s academic offerings.
A highlight of the exhibition was the introduction of TAUZ’s new PhD program in Public Health, which received positive feedback from conference participants. Many medical practitioners expressed enthusiasm about the program’s potential to advance public health research and practice in Zambia and the region.
In addition, there was notable surprise among attendees to discover that a substantial number of their colleagues present at the conference are already enrolled in TAUZ’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program. This growing interest underscores the university’s expanding role in postgraduate health education.
Texila American University Zambia continues to strengthen its commitment to advancing medical education and research, aiming to equip health professionals with the skills needed to address contemporary health challenges.
