Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) hosted an engaging seminar for new HPFP students, featuring Dr. Arvind Singh Tejawat, Assistant Professor and Teacher-in-Charge at the Central University of Haryana, India. The seminar provided an invaluable opportunity for them to explore important global topics.
Dr. Tejawat shared his expertise on two key areas: The Third World Countries and Their Policies Related to Science and Technologies, and India and Zambia Relations: Beginning of a New Era. Both topics sparked vibrant discussions, allowing students to critically reflect on the challenges and opportunities faced by countries in the Global South in terms of technological advancement, as well as the evolving relationship between India and Zambia in areas such as trade, education, and diplomatic collaboration.
The seminar was an excellent platform for students to gain insights into the interconnectedness of global policies and international relations, while also expanding their understanding of science and technology in developing countries. Dr. Tejawat’s session not only enhanced their academic knowledge but also encouraged them to think globally, opening doors to new perspectives on international cooperation and policy development.
