I am Ismail Imran Musa, a student doctor at Texila American University, Zambia (TAU). I completed my Health Professions Foundation Programme (HPFP) at TAU in March 2020.
As TAU is one of the best medical schools in Zambia, I have chosen TAU to pursue my medical degree. My course started with HPFP, where I have learned all the basics of medical and clinical aspects. After completing this foundation program, I understood how important it is. My learning at HPFP is helpful for me to understand medical concepts covered in the MBChB degree.
TAU is doing a great job in helping students enhance their medical knowledge and clinical skills. Even during the COVID-19 lockdown, our classes are continued through the online platform. TAU values us, stands by its commitment to its students, and is taking necessary actions to make things happen without any interruption. And, my professors are also making classes interactive and efficient even through online mode. Besides teaching, they help us in all aspects and guide us through difficult times.
Overall, my experience during HPFP was great, and I am enjoying my studies now. With their support and guidance, I will excel in my medical profession for sure. Thanks to TAU and my professors for being by my side and helping me evolve and excel in my life and career!
