The Zambia Qualifications Authority has ranked Texila American University as a Tier 1 institution in the country with a ZQF10 rating.
By classifying Texila in ZQF10, the highest tier of the Zambia Qualifications Framework, the authority has validated the delivery of high-quality education programs offered by the university.
TAU Zambia is a private institution that provides a wide range of career-centred medical and management programs. The university is approved by the Higher Education Authority – Ministry of Higher Education, Zambia, Health Professional Council of Zambia (HPCZ). It is a member of the Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) and the International Council for Open and Distance Education.
With state-of-the-art infrastructure, the campus has a 25,000 sq ft of dedicated learning space. Established in 2016, Texila has carved a niche for itself as a leading institution of higher learning in Zambia’s education landscape.
The university offers programs such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB), Bachelor of Public Health, Bachelor of Science in Project Management, Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting, MSc in Project Management, Master of Science in Banking and Insurance, Master of Public Health (MPH), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and Master of Business Administration (MBA). It also has distance and a combination of other learning programs that students can take up through its online learning management portals.
