Texila American University’s commitment to excellence in medical education has received high praise from Zambia’s Minister of General Education, Hon. Douglas Syakalima.
During a meeting with the university’s Founder and President, Mr. Saju Bhaskar, the Minister commended Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) for its ultra-modern medical laboratories, recognizing their role in enhancing practical learning for students pursuing health sciences.
Mr. Bhaskar briefed the Minister on the university’s plans to introduce a system that will enable students to complete part of their clinical studies in hospitals in the UK and other international countries. He emphasized that this initiative aims to provide students with global exposure, advanced medical training, and hands-on experience in diverse healthcare settings.
Hon. Syakalima welcomed the initiative, expressing his support for the university’s efforts to elevate medical education standards in Zambia. He noted that international training opportunities would help students acquire world-class expertise, ultimately benefiting the country’s healthcare sector.
The meeting underscored Texila American University’s dedication to innovation, global collaboration, and producing highly skilled medical professionals equipped to meet international healthcare demands.
