Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) recently held a Faculty Development Program under the theme “Reimagining Higher Education: Innovations from India in Teaching and Research – Insights from NEP 2020.”
The session was led by Dr. Siddhanth Mishra, Assistant Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India. Dr. Mishra shared valuable insights into the transformative reforms in Indian higher education inspired by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Drawing from India’s evolving academic landscape, Dr. Mishra focused on innovative approaches to pedagogy and research, highlighting the potential for contextual adaptation in other educational settings, including Zambia.
The session attracted wide participation from TAUZ faculty members, who were inspired by the possibilities of reimagining traditional methods of teaching and academic inquiry.
