Business students at Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) had the opportunity to gain valuable global insights as they attentively followed a webinar on “Developing Cross-Cultural Communication Skills in the Globalized World”, delivered by Dr. Denys Lifintsev, an Associate Professor at Kyiv National Economic University in Ukraine.
The webinar, being followed live online from the one of the university’s lecture halls, provided students with an in-depth understanding of how cultural differences impact business interactions, negotiations, and global market strategies. Dr. Lifintsev emphasized the importance of cultural awareness in today’s interconnected world, highlighting key strategies for effective communication across diverse backgrounds.
TAUZ business students actively engaged with the session despite the speaker being in Ukraine, taking notes and participating in discussions to better grasp the significance of cross-cultural competence in the modern workplace. The session reinforced the university’s commitment to equipping students with knowledge that transcends borders, preparing them to thrive in international business environments.
The webinar was part of TAUZ’s continuous efforts to expose students to global perspectives, fostering a learning environment that bridges academic theory with real-world application.
