The Student Representative Council (SRC) of Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) organized a fun-filled picnic for new students who joined the university during the September intake.
The event, which aimed to help the new students settle into university life, was held at South Park Fun Zone, offering a day of games, bonding, and relaxation.
The picnic provided a perfect opportunity for the newcomers to interact with their peers, make new friends, and familiarize themselves with the student community. Various games and activities were arranged by the SRC, ensuring that the students had a great time in a casual and welcoming environment.
Speaking about the event, SRC President Aquila Chilanga stated, “We wanted to create an enjoyable experience for the new students and help them feel like part of the TAUZ family from day one. The picnic was a great success, and it was wonderful to see everyone having fun and getting to know each other.”
The event concluded with laughter, memories, and a sense of belonging among the new students as they began their journey at TAUZ with excitement and enthusiasm.
