Texila American University (TAUZ) held a vibrant orientation ceremony for its new students at the Lilayi Campus, setting the tone for the academic journey ahead.
The event, which ran from 08:00 to 13:00, provided an opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the university’s ethos, academic expectations, and campus facilities.
Addressing the students, the Vice Chancellor of Texila American University Zambia, Prof. Ajay Poddar, extended a warm welcome and emphasized the importance of dedication and resilience in achieving academic excellence.
He encouraged the students to take advantage of the university’s diverse resources, both in and outside the classroom, to shape their future.
Throughout the day, various staff members introduced their services, outlining the student support services, and extracurricular opportunities available at TAUZ.
Representatives from different student representative council and societies were also present, highlighting the vibrant campus life and urging students to get involved.
Additionally, companies were invited to exhibit their products and services, providing the new students with insights into various business solutions that could complement their academic and personal growth.
The event not only served as an academic primer but also helped foster a sense of community among the new students, ensuring they feel at home as they begin their journey with TAUZ.
