Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) is proud to announce that its final-year MBChB students are currently undergoing their clinical exit examinations at the renowned University Teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka. This significant milestone marks the culmination of years of intense academic and practical training, preparing these future doctors for the challenges of the medical profession.
The clinical exit examinations, an essential component of the MBChB program, are designed to assess the students’ practical knowledge, clinical skills, and their ability to manage real-world medical cases. Conducted at UTH, the exams allow students to interact with patients and healthcare professionals, demonstrating their competence in diagnosing, treating, and managing patient care across various specialties.
TAUZ’s Dean for the School of Medicine, Dr. Amit Singh, emphasized the importance of this moment, stating, “The clinical exit examinations serve as a final validation of the medical knowledge and clinical skills our students have developed over the course of their training. We are confident that they are ready to make meaningful contributions to healthcare, not only in Zambia but across the globe. This is a proud moment for both the students and the institution.”
As the exams progress, TAUZ continues to uphold its commitment to offering top-tier medical education, ensuring that its graduates are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and compassion necessary to thrive in the healthcare sector.
TAUZ congratulates the final-year MBChB students for their dedication and perseverance throughout their studies. The university is excited to see them take the next step in their medical careers and looks forward to their contributions to the improvement of global healthcare.
