Texila American University Zambia recently honoured a group of outstanding students for their remarkable dedication to community service. In a heartwarming ceremony held within the esteemed confines of the university’s boardroom, these students were presented with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their selfless endeavours aimed at uplifting the surrounding communities of Lusaka.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Poddar was at the forefront of this celebration and commended the students for their unwavering commitment to various humanitarian endeavours. Prof. Poddar particularly highlighted their involvement in crucial initiatives such as hypertension screening, diabetes awareness campaigns, blood sugar checks, and hygiene sensitization efforts. He emphasized the pivotal role of empathy and compassion in the realm of healthcare, applauding the students for epitomizing these virtues through their dedicated service.

Speaking on behalf of her fellow peers, Gaudencia Nghiitwikwa, an MBChB student, conveyed heartfelt gratitude to Texila American University Zambia for the esteemed recognition bestowed upon them.
