The School of Medicine at Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to advancing clinical education for future healthcare professionals.
In a recent initiative, the Texila team, led by the Dean of the School of Medicine, Dr. Amit Singh, engaged with esteemed consultants from Levy Mwanawasa Medical Hospital—Dr. Carol Muloshi, Consultant for Surgery-II_Anaesthesia Sub-rotation, and Dr. Brian Dalitso Mwale, Consultant for Surgery-II_ENT Sub-rotation. The collaboration focused on reviewing clinical rotation logbooks to ensure a practical, comprehensive, and quality-focused approach to medical training.
“This collaboration underscores our dedication to equipping our students with the practical skills and knowledge they need to excel in the medical field,” remarked Dr. Singh. “By working with experienced professionals, we are bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world clinical practice.”
The review and enhancement of clinical rotation logbooks aim to further streamline hands-on learning experiences for TAUZ medical students, reinforcing the institution’s mission to produce competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
Texila American University Zambia remains steadfast in shaping the future of healthcare education, fostering partnerships that contribute to the highest standards of medical training.
