Texila Awards Top Pupils for Outstanding Performance in G12 Examinations Using Texila Academy Online Study Platform
Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) has recognized three outstanding pupils who excelled in last year’s final examinations by utilizing the Texila Academy Online Study Platform.
The top-performing students, Soko Fadaless from Kaunda Square Secondary School, Mwale Honest from Kabulonga Boys Secondary School, and Musongwe Wezi from Matero Boys Secondary School, were awarded cash prizes and certificates during a ceremony held at the university.
Speaking at the event, TAUZ Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Poddar emphasized the significance of the platform, which was developed as part of the university’s corporate social responsibility initiative.
“The Texila Academy Online Study Platform was created specifically for pupils in their final examination class, providing them with access to quality educational resources at no cost. We are proud to have over 30,000 pupils currently using the platform and urge more pupils across Zambia to take advantage of this valuable resource,” Prof. Poddar said.
He also highlighted the collaborative efforts behind the platform’s development, noting that the educational resources were formulated with input from teachers nationwide in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
Prof. Poddar expressed his hope that the platform would continue to benefit students and help improve academic outcomes across the country.
The awarded pupils expressed their gratitude to Texila American University Zambia for recognizing their hard work and encouraged their peers to utilize the Texila Academy Online Study Platform.
The event was attended by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Dr Balamurugan Easwaran, Registrar Ms Suguna S., Dean of the School of Public Health Prof. Patrick Chanda, Dean of the School of Medicine Dr Amit, and several proud parents.
