Texila American University’s efforts to support youth development through education have been commended by Zambia’s Minister of Youth, Sport, and Arts, Hon. Elvis Nkandu.
During a meeting with the university’s Founder and President, Mr. Saju Bhaskar, discussions centered on available scholarships for young people and potential partnership opportunities aimed at enhancing access to higher education.
Hon. Nkandu expressed his appreciation for the KK Scholarship, a program designed to provide deserving students with financial support to pursue their academic aspirations. He also welcomed Texila American University’s planned initiatives to further empower the youth, emphasizing the crucial role of education in national development.
In response, Mr. Bhaskar reaffirmed the university’s commitment to working closely with the Ministry to expand scholarship opportunities and create sustainable programs that will equip young Zambians with the skills needed for a competitive job market.
The meeting marked a step forward in strengthening collaboration between Texila American University and the government in fostering youth education and development.
