Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) continues its mission of bringing education closer to young minds, as a team from the university engaged with pupils at MCM Mufulira Secondary School on the Copperbelt. The interactive session aimed at enlightening students about career opportunities in medicine, business, and public health, while also offering insights into the university’s programs and scholarship opportunities.
TAUZ staff member, Chinyanta Mwanga, emphasized the importance of making informed decisions about higher education and career paths.
“At Texila, we believe that early career guidance is key in shaping the future of young people. Our goal is to inspire and guide students toward careers that not only fulfill their ambitions but also contribute positively to society,” Mwanga said.
The pupils had an opportunity to interact with the TAUZ team, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of how higher education can shape their futures.
“We were impressed by the level of curiosity and engagement from the pupils here. It is clear that they are eager to learn and explore opportunities beyond secondary school,” Mwanga added.
TAUZ continues to engage with schools across Zambia as part of its commitment to providing quality education and career mentorship. The university remains open to welcoming students who aspire to excel in various professional fields.
