Namibia’s youngest self-made millionaire is Texila medical student
Well-known youngest self-made millionaire in Namibia, Hilaria Amunyela is current studying medicine at Texila American University Zambia.
Hilaria was identified to be among some young Namibians who have found relief in selling goods ordered from China and establishing lucrative businesses.
The young lady has managed to establish herself and her online business, making her one of the youngest self-made millionaires in Namibia, a title she is modestly proud of.
The journey to becoming a millionaire has not been an easy one for the young student.
Selling everything from mobile phones, hair extensions, and clothing online to customers across Africa, Hilaria has grown her client base from a very small number in 2018 to thousands currently.
“It was all persistence, when people look at my orders, they think its small but if you are good with finances then you can go far. You need financial discipline and know how to market,” she said.
Hilaria enrolled with Texila American University Zambia in 2019 and is studying Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB).
