Texila American University, Zambia (TAU), has conducted a “Meet and Greet Event” for the students of its part-time programs in December 2020. During the event, Dr. Zombe Mazimba, Master of Public Health student and a Medical doctor at University Teaching hospital was awarded as a “Student Ambassador of the Year 2020” by the university.
TAU is a renowned private university in Zambia. Besides being a world-class medical university, TAU is also a virtuoso in offering part-time programs exclusively designed for working professionals. TAU always strives to make its part-time programs more interactive and engaging. It takes various initiatives to bring part-time students together. One such initiative is this yearly “Meet and Greet” event.
Amidst the on-going COVID-19 situation, students have turned up with utmost enthusiasm. Students participated in the event to interact with their fellow students, student mentors, departmental faculties and made it a resounding success.
