Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) proudly welcomed the Minister of Health, Hon. Elijah Muchima to its stand at the recent Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) conference held in Livingstone.
The visit highlighted the university’s ongoing commitment to advancing medical education and healthcare in Zambia.
During his tour of the exhibition area, Hon. Muchima stopped by the TAUZ stand and engaged with the university staff, who provided a comprehensive overview of TAUZ’s innovative programs and contributions to healthcare training in the country.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for the university’s role in equipping future healthcare professionals with the skills needed to address the country’s health challenges.
“Institutions like Texila American University are key partners,” remarked Hon Muchima.
The TAUZ team showcased the university’s diverse programs in Medicine, Public Health, Business Management and IT.
The display included information on TAUZ’s state-of-the-art facilities, such as its simulation labs and e-learning platforms, designed to provide students with hands-on, practical training alongside theoretical knowledge.
