Texila American University Zambia (TAUZ) clinical students actively participated in the National Doctor’s Day event organized by the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) on Sunday, 16th March 2025, under the theme “Pacing for Patient’s Wellness.”
The event aimed to bring together medical professionals and students to promote physical fitness and well-being through various activities, including a march-past, Aerobics Mania, and a Sports Tournament.
TAUZ students demonstrated great enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the event. Their participation in the sports tournament was particularly outstanding, with the team achieving remarkable results:
- 🏐 Volleyball Champions – TAUZ secured 1st place, emerging as tournament winners.
- ⚽ Soccer Quarterfinalists – The team reached the quarterfinals out of 13 participating teams.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for clinical students to interact with healthcare professionals, engage in healthy physical activities, and reinforce the importance of fitness in the medical profession.
TAUZ remains committed to holistic student development by encouraging participation in both academic and extracurricular activities that enhance their professional and personal growth.
